Patrick Orosco ('98) – Co-Founder, Board Member, Vice President
Mr. Orosco is a second generation real estate developer and Partner at The Orosco Group. He and his brother and partner Christopher Orosco (Stanford ’00) share responsibility for all aspects of the development process including acquisitions, modeling, design, marketing, public relations, construction management, leasing, and dispositions. The firm has specialized in regional shopping center and office development throughout Central and Northern California for the past 35 years, but is now engaged in acquiring and repositioning distressed multi-family, mixed use, office, and retail properties on the Monterey Bay where their intimate knowledge of local history, politics, and market forces helps them recognize and add value. The Orosco Group's forte is in redeveloping infill sites that are clouded by complex entitlement obstacles.
Since the beginning of his career, Mr. Orosco has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service. Mr. Orosco is Past President of the Seaside - Sand City Chamber of Commerce, and serves on multiple boards and advisory committees related to land use policy, economic growth, and promotion of the arts in Monterey County. Mr. Orosco’s goal is to play a lead role in cultivating a creative community on the Monterey Bay through of public / private partnerships and large scale developments. Mr. Orosco received a B.A. degree from Stanford in Urban Studies (with focus on Urban Design and Architecture), and now guest lectures within the department.
