Phil Mahoney

Phil Mahoney is a leader of the Corporate and Institutional Services Group at Cornish & Carey, specializing in office, R&D and headquarters facilities. He began his career with Cornish & Carey in 1982 and by 1992 he was appointed to Senior Vice President and Manager of thea Santa Clara office. Since 1984, Phil has ranked among the elite top five producers at Cornish & Carey, negotiating over 815 transactions totaling 42 million square feet of space valued at over $11.5 billion. His clients include Fortune 500 firms such as Palm, Netscape/AOL, Hewlett Packard, NEC, VeriSign, Agilent, BEA Systems and Network Appliance.  Phil was named “Broker of the Year” in Silicon Valley for an unparalleled ten times including 2007. In 1995, the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers (ASVB) named Phil to its “Hall of Fame”—the youngest ever chosen by ASVB. The San Jose Business Journal rated Phil the “#1 Broker” in Silicon Valley from 1999-2001 and again in 2004, 2006 and 2007. Phil was the top producing broker in the nation in 2000 with 6 million square feet of transactions totaling $2.8 billion. In 2006 and 2007, Phil again led Silicon Valley by being involved in a combined 6 million square feet of transactions worth an additional $2.5 billion. A Boston native, Phil was a varsity football player at Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He and his wife, Kelly, and three children make their home in Los Altos Hills.
