Real Estate and Law (REAL) Symposium 2011 at Stanford University
The First Annual Real Estate and Law (REAL) Symposium is presented by the Stanford Professionals In Real Estate (SPIRE) and the Real Property Law Section, State Bar of California. This exciting new symposium will bring together members of the real estate business and legal communities for thoughtful discussion of critical trends in the industry.
Confirmed keynote speakers include John Cushman, III. Chairman of the Board, Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., and Brian Pretti, Senior Vice President, The Mechanics Bank. In addition, T. Brent Hawkins, Partner with Best Best & Krieger LLP and General Counsel of the California Redevelopment Association, will speak on"Redevelopment in Crisis: The Latest On Legislation, Litigation and the Future of Redevelopment in California."
Two panels of outstanding speakers will focus on"Dodd-Frank: Its Aftermath and Lots of Moving Parts" and"Current Sources of Capital for U.S. Real Estate."
