A new initiative for SPIRE in 2012 is Small Dinner Groups with a member of the SREC (Stanford Real Estate Council).   The first event of 2012 will be in Los Angeles, limited to 15 Full Members of SPIRE,  will include Robert Lowe, Chairman of Lowe Enterprises and Patrick Tooley, Wilson Meany Sullivan. 

Mr. Walburger, who officially stepped into his new office on Dec. 15, says his first priority is to engage and connect with the membership.

 

In what is thought to be the first event of its kind held in Northern California, 165 people signed up for the SPIRE-sponsored First Annual Real Estate and Law (REAL) Symposium at Stanford University on Nov. 9.

The First Annual Real Estate and Law (REAL) Symposium is presented by the Stanford Professionals In Real Estate (SPIRE) and the Real Property Law Section, State Bar of California.  This exciting new symposium will bring together members of the real estate business and legal communities for thoughtful discussion of critical trends in the industry.

 

In a matter of days, top real estate professionals in Southern California will gather at the Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame banquet set for the historic California Club on Friday, October 28th.

September 29th through October 1st was what Chad Hagle, President of Stanford Professionals In Real Estate (SPIRE) referred to as “the greatest real estate weekend in the history of Stanford University.” The weekend included the first annual Stanford Real Estate Conference hosted by SPIRE, an upstart Stanford alumni organization founded in 2009 and now with over 1200 alumni members from the real estate industry, and Stanford Management Company, the division of the University that operates the endowment of the University, including its vast real estate holdings.

 

A capacity crowd of SPIRE members was on hand September 30th to honor two of California’s most influential real estate developers -- Bill Wilson, founder of Wilson Meany Sullivan, William Wilson & Associates and Webcor Builders, and Don Koll, founder of The Koll Company.
