Sponsorship of the Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame entitles the sponsor to event and tribute program recognition in addition to VIP seating and amenities. Sponsorship and advertising funds are applied to the Induction Banquet in Southern California to be held October 29th. If you would like to attend the event in Northern California on November 14th seats will be made available based on your sponsorship allocation. The Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame commemorative program will be distributed at both the Induction Banquet and the Honors Banquet.

SPIRE's next event in New York will take place on Thursday, September 18th at 7 PM at Brasserie (100 E. 53rd Street). SREC Member David Hamamoto (BS '81), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at NorthStar Realty Finance, will join us for a discussion over dinner. Mr. Hamamoto has served as NorthStar's Chief Executive Officer since its founding in October 2004. NorthStar Realty Finance is a publicly traded REIT that is among the most active in the industry and has a real estate portfolio of over $6 billion.

SPIRE's next event in Chicago will take place on Tuesday, September 16th. We will spend the evening on board Chicago's First Lady as we learn about more than 50 buildings along the Chicago River, revealing how the city grew from a small back-country outpost into one of the world's most important crossroads in less than 100 years. This event is a great opportunity for not only SPIRE members but their guests to enjoy the evening on the river.

SPIRE's next Small Group Dinner in Chicago will take place on Thursday, June 5th at 6:30pm at Balsan at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago. Jeff Jacobson ('83, MS '84), Global CEO of LaSalle Investment Management, has over 20 years experience in institutional investment management and will discuss his views on the global capital markets and investment landscape.
SPIRE's next Small Group Dinner in New York City will be held Wednesday, June 4th. We will take a tour and have a discussion with Scott Resnick of SR Capital at his firms’ Norman-Foster designed luxury condo development at 551 West 21st Street. Scott Resnick is the former President of Jack Resnick & Sons Inc., and has over 20 years’ experience in New York City real estate. Peter Ciganik (MBA ’07) of GTIS Partners will be part of the tour and will discuss his firms financial investment in the project.
